On Tuesday 5th March, Year 6 went to Wivelsfield School for an internet safety show called ‘Click’. It was about 2 friends and 1 internet-addicted teenager. It spoke about how you should check privacy settings and how anyone can see your personal information (if you don’t edit your privacy settings every now and again because apps update and they might reset!). It also spoke about how you shouldn’t let anyone force you into doing things you don’t feel comfortable with as they could use videos or photos against you. Also – if you don’t like anything you see online – tell a trusted adult. Finally don’t use any real information about yourself online and don’t trust everything you see or hear on the internet.
It was a very helpful session – especially because we didn’t know privacy settings could reset when apps update.
