Ditchling Dinosaurs

Y1/2 and R/1

Years One, Two and Reception have been making stunning clay dinosaurs. To create them, they moulded clay into any dinosaur shape they wanted and pushed dry pasta into the clay to add a tail or horns. After they had dried, they were painted in an enormous array of colours. A Reception child said “The painting was the best bit!” The end results looked incredible; they were all so unique. This activity sounds very enjoyable and the students had a great time.

Dalmatians’ class based their clay models on their writing in literacy this week. They received some startling news before writing – a dinosaur was on the loose in Ditchling! We will keep you updated as soon as we know any further developments… Beware! Good job Years 1, 2 and Reception!
