Headteacher Welcome

I would like to welcome you to our school.

At Ditchling (St Margaret's) CE Primary our clear vision - Learning Together. Building Success - unites staff, governors, families and children.

We are a welcoming, creative and inclusive community which, as of September 2017, includes 144 pupils across six classes.  Alongside regular teaching of literacy and mathematics, including daily phonics sessions in infants, children’s learning across the curriculum is enriched by regular outdoor learning opportunities.

The school is very well supported by an enthusiastic and passionate governing body and FPTA as well as by the Diocese of Chichester and clergy serving our local church, St Margaret’s in Ditchling.

We would be delighted to share with you our vision and enthusiasm for learning.  Anyone interested in joining our school community is welcome to contact us to arrange a visit. We have two open afternoons in November aimed at those starting school for the first time in September 2018. There is no need to book to attend these events.

I hope you enjoy your journey round our website and look forward to welcoming you to our fabulous school.
