Pupil Leadership

“Since September 2017 we have increased the range of Pupil Leadership opportunities for Year 6 children.  The children applied for the new positions of Environment Leaders or Audio Visual Leaders, if they were not already House Captains or School Council representatives.  Each role is structured in the same way with the responsibilities built around the acronym LEAD:

Name of Team: Environment Leaders

Number of leaders: 4

L Look after:                          

                         The outside area including:       

ensuring the litter is in the bins or is being recycled correctly.                                                              

all the toys are away in the shed and the toy shed is being kept tidy.                                                         

plants in pots around the school are watered when needed (more frequently in hot weather).                                                                   

report any damage.

                          The inside of school including:

daily cloakroom check – writing scores on the table.            

giving teachers any feedback about their class areas.        

announce weekly winners in Collective Worship.

       The library including:      

making sure all the books are on the selves properly.                 

making sure the cushions are tidy and the floor is clear.
