After the New Year, the school bought new equipment for PE, break time and lunch time. The new equipment includes: new skipping ropes, new balls and new throwing toys. All the equipment has been great to play with outside at break. The children have really enjoyed using the brand new equipment, an
0n Takeover day, Evie, Edie, Stella and Hugo taught year three. At the start of the day, they completed some colour by number pictures, before a selection of maths activities. After break they made Christmas comic strips. Just before lunch the year threes did a quiz all about Christmas ……
This year’s Halloween disco was super, as it included a star DJ, hotdogs and sweet stands. There was also a bunch of brilliant costumes including skeletons, zombies, witches and demons. There was also a number of competitions, such as limbo, best costumes (per class) and best spooky laugh.
In DT, Year 3 received a letter from Winnie the Pooh asking them to build a bridge to play Pooh Sticks. They have also been writing about the world’s worst teachers! The inspiration behind this was their recent book by David Walliams. Otto created ‘Mrs Whoopie Cushion”, who smells revolting!..
