Children In the Community

On Tuesday the 15th Children In the Community morning took place. Each class had a individual mission to help our community. Classes visited and were visited by care homes, made boxes to send to Africa, and packed dog treats to raise money for our school dogs’ charity, Canine Concern. Year 6 made delicious traditional Ukrainian biscuits for a Ukrainian charity, with the help of Mrs Beacroft. We raised £230 for selling the boxes after school. At Ditchling we believe that we should be agents of change, and that’s what we are. Well done Ditchling!!

“I love making biscuits because it was entertaining and it was also helping Ukraine!”
“I liked how we helped Ukraine in the war and how we had a lot of freedom and responsibility and how we did it in pairs!”
Thanks Holly and Isla for the quotes.
