On Thursday 6th March, the whole school had a wonderful day celebrating…books! Every student (and teacher), came dressed up as one of their favourite characters for a book. We had an array of characters from Hermione Granger to an alien who loves underpants!
Throughout the day each class did different activities to express our joy of stories, and in the afternoon had a wonderful collective worship. In this assembly, Mrs Game read a hysterical book called “the boy who ate books”. Next, we did our annual parade, where each class strode around the hall, showing off their unique costumes.
To end our brilliant day, everyone got a book token to finish off the fun!
