We are incredibly proud to share that our Year 6 pupils took part in the One Voice Festival of Singing at the Brighton Dome this December — a spectacular festive concert featuring young singers from primary schools across Brighton & East Sussex!
This year marked a special moment as over 2,400 children gathered to sing together at the iconic Brighton Dome Concert Hall on 2nd and 3rd December, bringing a magical atmosphere to the season with a vibrant celebration of song.
Our Year 6 pupils joined a massed choir of Key Stage 2 singers, performing a carefully chosen programme of songs that took audiences on a musical journey — crossing cultures and traditions, celebrating festive favourites, and bringing their voices together in harmony with peers from schools across the region. They also had the exciting opportunity to perform alongside talented young musicians and vocal leaders involved with the One Voice project.
The concert not only showcased the pupils’ developing musical skills, but also gave them valuable experience of performing on a professional stage in front of a large audience. Their confidence, teamwork and joy in singing truly shone through every song. We couldn’t be prouder of their commitment and enthusiasm!
