Year 4 had an exciting and educational trip to Plumpton College this week as part of our ongoing Fields of Knowledge partnership. The visit gave the children a hands-on opportunity to explore different habitats and discover which animals live in each one.
Throughout the day, the pupils investigated a range of environments, from ponds and woodland to grasslands, learning about the plants and animals that thrive there. They observed insects, birds, and other wildlife, and discussed how habitats provide food, shelter, and safety for the creatures that live in them.
The trip was a fantastic way to bring classroom learning to life and sparked plenty of curiosity and questions from our budding naturalists. Thank you to the team at Plumpton College for hosting us and helping our pupils gain a deeper understanding of the natural world.
