Ditchling Butterfly Gardens

Year 1 recently enjoyed a beautiful visit to our local Ditchling Butterfly Gardens, where they were able to experience nature up close in a truly memorable way.

The children were delighted to see a wide variety of butterflies flying freely around them and were fascinated by their bright colours and delicate patterns. They had the chance to observe butterflies at close range, helping to bring their learning about life cycles to life in a real and exciting setting.

A particular highlight was discovering the giant stick insects and bugs, which they were even able to handle! The children were amazed by how well they camouflage and enjoyed learning more about how they survive in their environment.
