South Downs Garden Centre

Year 4 had a fantastic visit to South Downs Garden Centre today, taking part in a range of hands-on learning experiences.

Some children planted bedding plants and learned how to care for them, with the plants kindly donated to the school to enhance our quiet area. Others enjoyed a fascinating talk on the history of garden tools, discovering how they have changed over time.

The group also explored the gardening museum, deepening their understanding of how gardening has developed through history.

A huge thank you to South Downs Garden Centre for their generosity and for providing such an engaging and memorable experience for the children.
