Year 6 were fortunate to have the science ambassadors from Downlands come into class to carry out a number of experiments. This provided the children with an opportunity to understand and experience what secondary school science offers, together with identifying some future careers that come from STEM activities.
“We got to see flying flame which was really cool and then we got to do lots of fun stuff with balloons, pepper, lemonade and food colouring – I loved it all!”
