The nursery children absolutely loved their visit from the police this week!
The children thought of lots of great questions to ask, such as “do you have enough cars for 150 bad guys?” and “if police work in the day and in the night, when do they sleep?”
The children were able to look at and try on different police hats. This included caps, helmets, riot helmets and sunhats! We also looked at a police vest and the different contents found inside. This included evidence bags, a torch, a radio, gloves, parking tickets and speeding tickets.
The best part of all… the children were able to explore and sit inside a real police car! There was lots of excitement! They pretended to drive, observed the flashing lights, and continued to ask brilliant questions.
Overall, the children loved seeing a real ‘superhero’ in action!
