We were delighted to welcome Graham from St Francis Animal Care to school last week, who brought along some very special visitors – his rescue hedgehogs.
Each class had the opportunity to meet the hedgehogs and learn more about these fascinating animals. The children enjoyed seeing them up close, gently touching their prickles, and asking Graham lots of thoughtful questions about how hedgehogs live and how they are cared for when they are rescued.
It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about animal welfare and how we can help protect wildlife, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
