Recently, our Year 5 and 6 pupils set off on an unforgettable residential adventure to PGL Little Canada on the Isle of Wight. From the moment they arrived, the excitement was non-stop!
Over the course of the trip, the children took part in a wide range of outdoor activities including zip lining, giant swing, climbing, archery, and team challenges — all designed to build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Evenings were packed with fun too, with games, campfires, and lots of laughter.
The children all said they had a brilliant time, some overcoming worries about staying away for the first time. They said the food was delicious, and that they loved the activities. One said “I really enjoyed the trapeze and giant swing, even though it was scary and I was shaking when I came down.”
The children showed brilliant teamwork and enthusiasm throughout, and it was wonderful to see so many of them trying new things and stepping out of their comfort zones. Staff were incredibly proud of how well everyone represented the school.
