What a wonderful day we had at the Sunny Summer Fair! The sun shone brightly over the school field as families, staff and children came together to enjoy a day packed with games, treats and community spirit.
Children had a brilliant time trying their luck at the Kids’ Tombola, Lucky Dip, Hook-a-Duck, Bean Bag Toss, and the ever-popular Jars Game. The Drink Hoopla provided fun for all ages—thanks to all the families who donated!
Sporty types took on the Football and Netball Shoot Outs, and the afternoon ended with a fun and feisty Tug of War, which had the whole crowd cheering. Meanwhile, the Maypole Dancing brought a touch of traditional charm to the day.
The Year 6 stalls were a big hit, with children proudly running their own games and fundraising for end-of-year treats. Over in the shade, our quiet area provided a peaceful space with yoga mats and colouring—perfect for those needing a little break from the hustle and bustle.
No summer fair would be complete without treats: the Ice Cream Stall, BBQ, Bar, and Café kept everyone refreshed and smiling.
Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who supported the fair—whether by volunteering, donating prizes, baking cakes or simply turning up to enjoy the day. Special thanks also to those who helped organise the Raffle, which had some fantastic prizes on offer.
Events like this bring our school community together in the best way. Here’s to sunshine, laughter, and a fabulous end to the term!
