This week, 40 children from across the area took part in the second round of the Weald Cross Country competition in Crowborough. The children enjoyed a lovely sunny day as they raced through the muddy course, giving their best and supporting one another throughout.
The team all finished in great positions and represented the school with pride. A special congratulations goes to Coral and Benjamin, who achieved outstanding results, earning 1st and 2nd place medals respectively. Their excellent performances mean they now progress to the Sussex county competitions in Spring, where they will compete against the top runners from across the region.
We are extremely proud of all children who took part. Their sportsmanship, encouragement of one another, and determination were clear throughout the event. Thank you as well to the families who supported the children on the day.
